Little Ladybirds

In Little Ladybirds, our children are wrapped in a world where they feel safe, loved, and ready to explore. Our babies lead the way, we promote independence with every step choosing what to reach for, splash in, squeeze, shake, or giggle at — because their autonomy and agency matter from day one. We pride our room on allowing every child to be their true self, whether they’re a quiet observer or a bold adventurer and we build strong, meaningful parent partnerships from day one as we know and understand what it feels like to be leaving your pride and joy here with us. We regularly send newsletters to keep our families up-to-date with our current learning experiences. We share our current 'Book of the Moment' and our 'Makaton Sign of the Moment' for our families to join in with at home.

We’re a family and our warm, caring staff make sure every child feels right at home. With gentle voices, open arms, and endless patience, we celebrate each baby’s quirks, cuddles, and milestones - sharing these with you at every opportunity. We see every little one as capable and creative, and we fill their days with sensory surprises, songs and stories. You will very often catch us singing, dancing or getting messy and exploring with all our senses.

And because we adore the outdoors, we spend plenty of time outside — visiting the nursery chickens, joining in with forest school activities, and even visiting the nursery allotment to dig, smell, and discover.

Little Ladybirds class is led by our Assistant Manager, Katie Wright along with 4 qualified practitioners.

The room has capacity for 9 children with a staff ratio of 1 staff:3 children (1:3).
